Setiap orang yang dengan tujuan menguntungkan diri sendiri atau orang lain atau suatu korporasi, menyalahgunakan kewenangan, kesempatan, atau sarana yang ada padanya karena jabatan atau kedudukan yang merugikan keuangan negara atau perekonomian negara, dipidana dengan pidana penjara seumur hidup atau pidana penjara paling singkat 1 (satu) tahun dan paling lama 20 (dua puluh) tahun dan/atau denda paling sedikit Rp50.000.000,00 dan paling banyak Rp1.000.000.000,00.

Any person who, with the aim of benefiting themselves, another person or a corporation, abuses the authority, opportunity or means available to them by reason of their office or position, which harms state finances or the state economy, shall be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment of at least 1 (one) and at most 20 (twenty) years and/or a fine of at least IDR 50,000,000 and at most IDR 1,000,000,000.
