— Definition of Domestic Violence
Bahasa IndonesiaKekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga adalah setiap perbuatan terhadap seseorang terutama perempuan, yang berakibat timbulnya kesengsaraan atau penderitaan secara fisik, seksual, psikologis, dan/atau penelantaran rumah tangga, termasuk ancaman untuk melakukan perbuatan, pemaksaan, atau perampasan kemerdekaan secara melawan hukum dalam lingkup rumah tangga.
English (British)Domestic violence is any act against a person, especially a woman, resulting in physical, sexual or psychological misery or suffering and/or household neglect, including threats to commit such acts, coercion, or the unlawful deprivation of liberty within the household.

Bahasa IndonesiaPenghapusan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dilaksanakan berdasarkan asas penghormatan hak asasi manusia, keadilan dan kesetaraan gender, nondiskriminasi, dan perlindungan korban.

— Prohibition of Violence
Bahasa IndonesiaSetiap orang dilarang melakukan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga terhadap orang dalam lingkup rumah tangganya, dengan cara: a. kekerasan fisik; b. kekerasan psikis; c. kekerasan seksual; atau d. penelantaran rumah tangga.
English (British)Everyone is prohibited from committing domestic violence against a person within their household, by means of: a. physical violence; b. psychological violence; c. sexual violence; or d. household neglect.
