Article 10 — Aims of a Political Party

(1) Tujuan umum Partai Politik adalah: a. mewujudkan cita-cita nasional bangsa Indonesia sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pembukaan UUD 1945; b. menjaga dan memelihara keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia; c. mengembangkan kehidupan demokrasi berdasarkan Pancasila; dan d. mewujudkan kesejahteraan bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia.

(1) The general aims of a political party are: a. to realise the national ideals set out in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution; b. to safeguard the unity of the Republic of Indonesia; c. to develop democratic life based on Pancasila; and d. to achieve the welfare of all the Indonesian people.
