Bahasa IndonesiaSirkuit Terpadu adalah suatu produk dalam bentuk jadi atau setengah jadi, yang di dalamnya terdapat berbagai elemen dan sekurang-kurangnya satu elemen aktif, yang saling berkaitan dan dibentuk secara terpadu di dalam bahan semikonduktor untuk menghasilkan fungsi elektronik. Desain Tata Letak adalah kreasi berupa rancangan peletakan tiga dimensi dari berbagai elemen sirkuit terpadu.
English (British)An integrated circuit is a finished or semi-finished product containing various elements, at least one of them active, interconnected and integrally formed in a semiconductor material to perform an electronic function. A layout design is a creation in the form of a three-dimensional arrangement of the elements of an integrated circuit.

Bahasa Indonesia(1) Hak Desain Tata Letak Sirkuit Terpadu diberikan untuk Desain Tata Letak Sirkuit Terpadu yang orisinal.
(2) Desain dianggap orisinal apabila merupakan hasil karya mandiri pendesain dan bukan merupakan sesuatu yang umum bagi para pendesain.
English (British)(1) The layout-design right is granted for an original layout design.
(2) A design is deemed original if it is the designer's own work and not something common among designers.

Bahasa Indonesia(1) Perlindungan terhadap Hak Desain Tata Letak Sirkuit Terpadu diberikan untuk jangka waktu 10 (sepuluh) tahun.
