— The Representative Bodies

— Powers of the MPR
Bahasa IndonesiaMajelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat berwenang mengubah dan menetapkan Undang-Undang Dasar, melantik Presiden dan/atau Wakil Presiden, serta memutuskan usul Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat untuk memberhentikan Presiden dan/atau Wakil Presiden dalam masa jabatannya setelah ada putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi.
English (British)The People's Consultative Assembly has the power to amend and enact the Constitution, to inaugurate the President and/or Vice-President, and to decide a House proposal to remove the President and/or Vice-President from office after a decision of the Constitutional Court.

— Functions of the House
Bahasa Indonesia(1) Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat mempunyai fungsi: a. legislasi; b. anggaran; dan c. pengawasan.
(2) Ketiga fungsi tersebut dijalankan dalam kerangka representasi rakyat dan untuk mendukung upaya Pemerintah dalam melaksanakan politik luar negeri.
